Slope Flying Day: Big Air on the Top of Sheba Crater
Flagstaff Flyers and guests enjoy BIG slope conditions on the top of Sheba Crater along Leupp Road. Winds can run in the high 20's and 30's in the morning and grow stronger as the day progresses. We may even have a few gusts as high as 60 mph! There is often some intense combat flying and some acrobatic fun as folks "dance" under a limbo line.
In May we have Zagi Day at the Mormon Lake Overlook. Flying starts early and will often last past noon. The wind often never stops! We usually have a good turnout with lots of exciting combat and fun flying. Photos....
