CVMA Members Visit Flag Flyers

The weather couldn't have been better when six members of the Chino Valley Model Aviators and a couple of wives came to Flagstaff on August 15. They joined 13 Flag Flyers for the day. The visit was part of an exchange that started last year. In early Spring members of the Flagstaff Flyers traveled to Chino Valley for a day of flying which included breakfast and lunch. In return the CVMA members were invited to share the same with us.

The day got started at around 8 AM with pancakes, sausage, coffee or OJ. The skies were overcast and temperatures were cool with no wind and continued that way throughout the day. It was an awesome day for flying. For lunch everyone was able to partake in hamburgers which were prepared by Durwood Cline and Jack Gray. Included was chips and a soda.

Everyone seemed to enjoy the day and we look forward to have the exchange again next year. Thanks to the CVMA for the visit we sincerely enjoyed their company.
